Specifically, this includes registering and processing the following information:
1. a) Name, address, email address, phone number
2. b) Payment information (credit card details)
3. c) Information about active and completed assignments (time, location, payment, etc.)
4. d) Information shared in chat functionality with cleaners
5. e) Information generated by your activity on our website or app, such as your IP address, preferences, and choices
We do not process sensitive personal data by default and encourage customers and cleaners to refrain from sharing such information via Vaskehjelp™.
2 WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Your personal data will be used to administer and manage the service and provide necessary information about your assignments and customer history. We may also notify customers and cleaners via SMS in case of any errors in the app.
When you visit our website and use the app, your personal data may also be used to improve our service and develop information offerings related to our services through customer surveys, as well as show relevant marketing about Vaskehjelp services on Facebook.
3 HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The information we process comes either from data you provide when registering as a user of the service or from information we receive through using the service (orders, assignment agreements, etc.). This may also include information from cleaners or data we obtain directly from available sources, such as identity verification.
4 LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We process your personal data based on the consent you have given when creating a user account in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in this Privacy Policy.
5 WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Access to personal data is limited to our employees and contractors who need it for the purposes described in Section 1. Cleaners offering services via Vaskehjelp™ may also have access to necessary information. All cleaners have committed to handling your personal data responsibly based on their service agreement with us.
We may also share your data with our data processors (see Section 6) and, if necessary, with the company’s advisors, auditors, lawyers, IT consultants, and others. In such cases, we ensure all data is processed fully in line with the purpose and that our providers are responsible for handling the data according to this Privacy Policy. Additionally, our analytics and advertising providers, such as Google Analytics and Facebook, have access to your personal data when using our website and app.
6 WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?
We may use providers (data processors) who assist us with processing user personal data. This includes providers of storage and operational services (Amazon Web Services and similar cloud service providers) and providers of advertising and analytics services such as Google Analytics and Facebook. Personal data may also be accessible to providers of maintenance and support services.
Our data processors may be located abroad (both inside and outside the EU), and your consent to storage and use includes the transfer of personal data to these processors. We ensure all processors maintain an adequate security level to protect your data even when processed outside Norway.
Data processors are not allowed to transfer personal data to others (subcontractors) without prior written agreement with us.
An overview of our use of data processors will be provided upon request.
Information will not be made available to outsiders for any other purpose. However, data may be disclosed as required by law, e.g., to tax authorities or other public bodies.
7 HOW AND FOR HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Personal data is stored as long as necessary for the purpose of processing and then deleted. Information about ongoing and past assignments, including data exchanged with cleaners, will be stored until you close your Vaskehjelp™ profile.
We may retain customer data even after profile closure to comply with legal accounting retention requirements, handle complaints, or maintain history of contacts and deliveries.
You may request deletion of your data at any time unless required by law to retain it for a certain period.
8 USE OF PERSONAL DATA IN MARKETING
We may send various types of communications to you as a customer for as long as the customer relationship exists. This includes, for example, using your email address to send newsletters and other marketing materials that we consider relevant to you, to the extent permitted under the Marketing Act. We consider a customer relationship to be concluded two years after the last service delivery to the customer, unless subsequent contact indicates that the relationship should still be considered active.
As mentioned in this Privacy Policy, we use Facebook services in connection with personalized marketing and customer analytics. You can withdraw your consent to the collection and use of your personal data for such purposes at any time.
